Bubba Watson to Join Thailand Golf Championship

American golfer Bubba Watson will be making his debut in the Thailand Golf Championship in this December. It seems that a tough fight is going to take place in Thailand this December. The defending champion Lee Westwood along with the American veteran Bubba Watson and another American Hunter Mahan are the first ones to enlist their names.

This tournament is worth $1 million. Apart from Westwood, Watson and Mahan, the two Proteus Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen, Northern Ireland’s Darren Clarke are also taking part in this competition. So it is likely that Westwood will have to put up a great show to hold his title. This second version of the Thailand Golf Championship is expected to be a great show as all these players are taking part.

Watson has been chosen for the next month’s Ryder Cup team and he is focusing on that. He said that it would be a great pleasure for him if he has the chance to win the Ryder Cup for America. Now it seems that Watson has been planning his future steps also. He wants to finish this year with a bang, and perhaps this is the reason why he has chosen to play at the Thailand Golf Championship.

Watson bagged his first Major at Augusta National in April where he had an exciting win over the South African Oosthuizen. He was observed saying that he is pretty keen to take part in the Thailand Golf Championship. Apart from the game of golf it is the country of Thailand which attracts him the most. He has been informed about the wonderful food, magnificent beaches and the amazing people of the country, he told.

Bubba Watson is quite serious about winning the championship and he is working hard. He loves to play among the fans and hopes that the Thailand supporters will not let him down. He also wants to have a share of the Thai culture which will be a great pleasure for him.
