Scott looks for Augusta victory

Aussie golfer Adam Scott always dreamt of sporting the Australian Masters gold jacket. Yesterday, after one of the most compelling and complete 4 – round performances in his career, the world number five’s concentration switched to Augusta Masters’ Green jacket. There is no doubt that Augusta’s green jacket is the Australian golfer‘s next quest.

Thirty two year old Adam Scott told that it was really nice for him to get his hand on this jacket. Probably he could set the theme of winning jackets and turn it green next year before he come back to defend it.

The golfer from Queensland fought really hard with Ian Poulter, the runner up, for the closing thirty six holes at the Kingston Heath as they left the course in their wake with a crushing shotmaking display. That Adam’s win came against one of world’s most respected match-play exponent. It was great for him to achieve this feat in front of him home crowd when Ian Poulter was at his best form as a golfer.

The pair played together for the whole weekend, mixed for an almost incomprehensible twenty five birdies in twenty seven holes from the beginning of the 3rd round till the turn yesterday.

Adam Scott told that it was really nice to be a part of that. The way Ian Poulter and he played for the past 2 days was really high standard golf. It was very satisfying for Adam as he did it against a top world class golfer, who is at the top of his game.
