Mike Kerr To Be The Caddie Of Adam Scott In The Upcoming Season

Adam Scot, the Australian Golfer who currently holds the third rank has selected Mike Kerr, a Zimbabwean as his full time Caddie. Mike Kerr was the Caddie of Scott when he was playing at the Australian Open in November last year.

Mike Kerr got the fifth place in the competition. He was Scott’s caddie also in the month of December last year when he got the second place in the PGA Championship Australia. Kerr was offered the job of being the full time caddie for Adam Scott soon after that.

After Kerr accepted the job, Scott said that was very happy that Kerr has accepted his offer. Scott also said that he is very confident that Kerr will prove himself to be a valuable member of his team for the 2015 season.

Scott has also indicated that Kerr might even continue being his caddie even after 2015. Mike Kerr has been the caddie of Lee Westwood, Ernie Ells, Miguel Angel Jimnez and right before accepting the job of being the caddie for Adam Scott, he caddied for Thorbjorn Olesen.

Adam Scott’s last caddie was Steve Williams, he has been the caddie of Scott for three years. Steve Williams, a New Zealander, could not continue being the caddie for Adam Scott for a complete season and for that reason they had to go their separate ways.

The partnership of Adam Scott and Steve Williams was a successful one. Scott was out of form and during that period, he got back in form and managed to play what may be the best games of his career. He won the Masters in 2013. Scott became the first Australian to win the Masters and after that he became the number one golfer in the world and managed to retain that position for eleven weeks. For Adam Scott and Mike Kerr, there’s a lot of work to be done in the upcoming season.
